MSD Project Clear seeks to provide clear, current information and collaborate with the community. One of our most important community partners are local governments including the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County and the ninety-one municipalities within St. Louis County. We are committed to keeping these partners informed and involved.

To this end, meetings were held in late 2013 and early 2014 to review the latest developments in MSD Project Clear. Presentations are provided here along with frequently asked questions from the meetings. Two presentations are available: one for the separate sewer area and one for the combined sewer area, each with unique content relevant to the type of sewer service.

Municipal Briefing, January 2014

If you live, work, or play in St. Louis City or some of the near county areas such as University City or Maplewood, you are likely served (in whole or in part) by a combined sewer system, and this presentation applies to you. A combined sewer system combines both wastewater and stormwater into one pipe and then moves it to a treatment plant.
